According to this article of Mercer Human Resources Consulting, 15 percent of the labor force in the US works from home once a week. We would expect that the net return of working from home is higher that working in the office, since workers don’t spend in transportation costs, or costs of meals that are usually more expensive outside home. However, if this is true we also would expect more demand for this kind of jobs, it seems that this is a good topic for a paper.
